Rising Sun offers copyediting services of all levels and categories, be it Level 1 (copyediting), Level 2 (line editing), or Level 3 (extensive editing). We undertake Scientific, Medical, and Technical (STM) projects, as well as Humanities. The style we follow by default is The Chicago Manual of Style (CMoS), 17th edition, and we use Merriam-Webster as our default dictionary for spelling convention. However, thanks to our flexible workflow, clients can request a specific style and dictionary to be used. We strive to provide an astounding service that is both rapid and of impeccable quality.

Editorial Proofreading:

In Editorial Proofreading, we check and edit the presented proof for compliance with style, consistency of formatting and terms throughout the manuscript, spelling errors/typos, grammatical errors, and general sense. We undertake word-by-word content matching if required. We analyze the text for consistency in style, such as font size and headings; pagination, page flow and layout; page design; and hyphens at the end of a line. We proofread books, journals, and author manuscripts.
